Mamey Dessert

Serves 6-8

  • 4 1/2 cups milk
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup ground almonds
  • 1 large ground mamey (fruit resembles mango)

Mix milk, sugar and almonds in a saucepan. Heat until boiling, then remove. Add ground mamey, mix well, and heat until thickened. Chill in glass punch bowl or cups and serve cold.
